Inspired by the daily interactions with her clients and their beloved pets, DL weaves entertaining and authentic tales into her novels, drawing from true-life cases and amusing anecdotes.

She loves spending time with her husband, daughter, and their menagerie of pets, planning the next travel adventure, and running nearby trails.
